I am shocked this spot got a 4 out 5, someone is lying! I had never been to cannon beach before and just fell in love with every piece of it. On our way back to our car we stopped for lunch. First impression was bad and I knew after we ordered we should have gotten up to leave, but I figured I'm just over reacting. It's very small, and has odd seating arrangements with 3 tables in a Hallway on your way to the bathroom. The door was left open as well and it was 45 degrees out and very windy. After 10 minutes of sitting down we got our water with a "here you go, sorry we are busy" and he stormed off. No room for us to put in a drink order. From the reviews I have read sounds like they are always under staffed. After another 5 min the server came back and said in a rushed voice "ok what do u want to order" I felt so rushed and so uncomfortable I stumbled over my order... Once he finished with us he just stormed off, never asked if we had questions or made small talk. At that point our moods were starting to go sour. We ordered a lamb wrap and a tuna and dill havarti. However I was informed they have no havarti. And I heard at the table behind is they were out of a few different kinds of beers. Not only was the server horrible a huge BANG happened in the kitchen. Me and my husband jumped it was so loud. Sounded like someone threw plates on the ground. 40 minutes later we get our sandwiches. We didn't order warm sandwiches, so that right there tells u how unorganized and under staffed they are. My tuna was over seasoned, no dill taste and when I picked up the sandwich the crust fell off. My husband had the lamb wrap and it tasted like cardboard! He are 4 bites and that was it. No seasoning, dry lamb. Disappointment!!!! He no longer had an appetite anyway after our horrible experience. Later the server comes to bus a table that was dirty since we arrived there and sAid "are you folks ok because I have no time to come back over this way again." I couldn't even speak. We needed boxes... And he could clearly see that. We had enough. We made a 25$ mistake. What a waste of money. No tip was earned or deserved for unnecessary behavior. What a crappy way to end our cannon beach visit.

I am disappointed. Since they had a kids menu, and the restaurant was nearly empty, I figured it would be a good place for my 2yr old daughter and I to grab lunch. Apparently the waitress disagreed, she dropped off waters without a word, and later appeared at the table silently, which was awkward considering I saw her warmly greet the middle aged couple who walked in behind us, with offers of drink orders and specials. I ordered for my daughter first, and asked for a minute more for my food. She walked away and I assumed she was putting in the first order, but I was wrong. I ordered the curried chicken pita, ordered a grilled cheese for my kid. I got my pita but my daughter got a quesadilla with two sour orange slices on the side. Not worth complaining about, but disappointing to get the order completely wrong, and when it came out, it was so hot that it nearly burned my hand, and when it finally cooled the edges of the tortilla were rock hard and not good. I wanted to love my curried chicken pita, large ripe slices of tomato, cool cucumber, hummus and lettuce. But it was so salty, that the curry flavor barely came thru and there was more salt flavor than anything else. I hoped a special recipe cookie (maple bacon) might redeem them, but no, it was boring and lacked flavor. Every time I decide to venture into Cannon Beach, I remember why I never go there, and this place didn't change my opinion.

During our stay in Cannon Beach, we stumbled upon Season's Cafe for lunch one afternoon. The sandwich's here are very inventive and unlike anything I have ever tasted...in a GOOD way! On this particular trip, I tried the California - a turkey sandwich with avocado, onion, lettuce and tomato with cream cheese on cinnamon bread!?!?! I know that cinnamon bread sounds crazy right, but it's exactly what makes this sandwich so CRAZY GOOD! My husband tried the Aussie - thinly sliced roasted leg of lamb on crusty french bread served with a mint a jus...another sandwich masterpiece! My only wish is that they open a satellite location in my hometown of Nashville, TN. Do your taste buds a favor and stop in Season's Cafe the next time you are in town and give one of these sandwiches a try!

Just finished eating lunch here and it was amazing. We ordered the antipasto sandwich with the pasta salad and the rockfish tacos. Both were made with very fresh ingredients and were worth the price. The menu had good variety and the outside seating was comfortable. Would definitely come back!

This is my FAVORITE place to visit for a meal while in Cannon Beach. You cannot go wrong with any of the many options. Today my fiancé enjoyed the Aussie Dip with their pasta salad and the sandwich was full of flavor and came with lots of meat! I ordered the three cheese sandwich and I was blown away. Lots of melted cheese, tomato and crusted Parmesan cheese toasted on the outside of the bread. It was superb! I also purchased a cup of their coma chowder and was quite impressed. The server was helpful and delightful. I love Seasons Cafe.

One of the only places in Cannon Beach that offers to-go in the evening. Great menu, quality ingredients and an engaging staff. Eat here for sure.

Tucked away in a nice location in Canon Beach. It was a busy summer day and that's why they get credit and 3 stars not two. As in other reviews the food service was very slow. It would appear that a cook (female) came out at one point and she was very unhappy and grumbled about how it wasn't technically or legally her job? Definitely not front of the house behavior. Food - Daughter had chicken sandwich. Which was just that. A HUGE baked chicken breast on a roll with mayo and lettuce. Would have been much more palatable if it had been sliced up on her bread and perhaps jazzed up with garlic aioli or something. She was very unimpressed. Hubby had the triple club which was exactly as advertised. Nothing special but acceptable. They forgot his side (pasta salad) but did bring it promptly when reminded. I had the antipasto Panini with potato salad and it was definitely the star of the show. Nice balance of ingredients - olive tapenade was perfect. Balsamic reduction was a beautiful finish. Only suggestion would be to have real tomatoes - they are in season and these were definitely the gassed green variety. $32 for a 3 average sandwiches seems a bit high to me.

My boyfriend and I went to Seasons for a late lunch today and I was highly disappointed to find out they were out of clam chowder and their special cinnamon bread for the California sandwich. When the server suggested the one soup they did have as an alternative and I politely said no thank you, he looked at me like I was crazy for not taking him up on his sauerkraut soup. I don't think it's unusual for a person to not like sauerkraut. I begrudgingly ordered the California sandwich on sourdough bread. It was nothing special. I should have just left when they did not have what I came for. My boyfriends pastrami sandwich was just ok, nothing to write home about. Service was mediocre at best.

Excellent meal. We had wild rice and scallops, tiramisu for dessert. Nice waitress and chef/owner. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

Nice find off the main drag. Very good Reuben, Caesar wrap and tomato basil mozzarella baguette. Quality bread made even the kids' PB&J worth comment. Good craft beer in bottles. Only complaint is the split charge for a half a wrap made it $8 (vs. $10 for a full). Would definitely come back though.

It was a windy but clear day when we drove up from Cape Lookout to Cannon Beach. We timed it so we could do some tidepooling at Haystack Rock. Walking around in the cold water and combating the wind wore us out and built an appetite. We wandered around Cannon Beach looking for the right place to eat. I don't remember what exactly attracted us to the sign leading us down a rabbit's warren of small shops to Season's Cafe and Deli. Maybe it just said open? Walked in to a clean deli. The owner had her daughter at work, she was playing with the chip bags and a broom (the daughter, not the owner). R had the clam chowder, really good. I think it had some... rosemary, maybe? I went with the fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil sandwich. I was expecting just a panini with some cheese, a couple tomato slices, and a few bits of shredded basil. What I got was something deserving to be served on fancy plates with more sliverware than I have hands. Served on thick French bread. Big slices of mozzarella. Good looking tomato slices. Gigantic basil leaves with a balsamic reduction drizzled all over it. All that came in a plain plastic basket! The chef came out to take our plates and see what we thought. I think he's the owner and maybe father of the child playing with the broom.

We would have liked to have tried Seasons during our recent weekend in Cannon Beach. However, they were never open during their posted hours (both posted online and on their front door). We arrived for brunch at 11:10am on Saturday, but were greeted with a locked door, even though the sign right in front of our faces said they were open until noon. Clearly they were not closed for the season as there was a working inside doing place settings.

I had a very satisfying meal at the Cafe on a dreary November Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly, if not a little frazzled (I overheard one tell another table that they were busy with a catering job). I had the spicy shrimp salad, which had excellent flavors. The only problem was that it had a little too much salt....nonetheless I killed the whole plate. The Mexican Latte I got kept me warm the whole drive back to Portland. Yum! I recommend this place for tourists. It is probably a good idea to try some of the more unconventional items on the menu just to see what the chef can do. (There was a spicy shrimp bento box, which sounded like another interesting option for the shrimp lovers)

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after a morning of walking on the beach in the rain. It was cold and dreary outside, but warm and cheerful inside this cozy cafe. We were greeted by the owner/chef and told to go ahead and grab a table in the empty restaurant. He was attentive and amiable, but not overly so, giving us plenty of privacy to enjoy our meal - which we did. The menu is creative without being forced, and the prices are reasonable. I had the Californian, a cold sandwich comprised of the typical "californian" ingredients (avocado, turkey, cream cheese, etc.), except piled high on super soft, freshly baked cinnamon swirl bread. When we commented on the unusual combination, he even explained it's origin (having to do with an extra loaf of cinnamon swirl bread). My husband had the reuben (his favorite sandwich anywhere). It made the restaurant smell delightful as it cooked, and the flavors blended perfectly. I do not like rye bread, but I stole several bites of this sandwich regardless. The sauce was not the typical heavily processed thousand island dressing, but rather a nicely seasoned, zippy, homemade sauce that elevated the sandwich above typical deli reubens. Both sandwiches were large and full of the premium ingredients, not just lots of lettuce. Although we didn't have any, there were some generously portioned baked goods in the bakery cabinet and a wide selection of bottled drinks in addition to the coffee bar offerings.

Sweet little cafe in Cannon Beach! I came by with a friend who lives here for a quick bite to eat. While I didn't order any of the regular menu items, the onion bagel I got was (from what I heard from my friend) made in house- good chewy texture and a nice, not overbearing flavor. The woman who took out order and brought out our bagels/coffee was nice, and took the time to chat us up. The owner, who I saw only for a split second, seems like a nice guy too.

After a weekend of "vacation eating" (if you know what I mean), I was torn between opting for a lighter meal and checking off another Yelp guided eatery. Glad I was able to find a happy medium. The veggie wrap was so good, I was shocked to realize it was vegan. The hummus and vinaigrette was the perfect mix of make your mouth burst with flavor and leaving you with a strong need for a mint. Steak chili was also very satisfying to my taste buds but wish it wasn't lukewarm. The boy settled for the Triple BLT, which was big as it sounds and equally delicious. Wish we had opted for pasta salad in lieu of potato salad, though.

It all started out looking like a 5 star rating....the place is very cute and has a great menu of cold and hot sandwiches (interesting ones, not just your usual) and the specials looked great. We went for lunch, sat down, and a few minutes later a very harried and not too friendly waiter arrived to take out order. My friends ordered clam chowder and sandwiches and I ordered the steak salad, which was a special (and turned out to be a huge mistake). The clam chowder took about 15 minutes to arrive, but when it did, it was amazing...one of the best bowls of clam chowder I have had..full of clams, and herbs which gave it a more complex flavor than your average chowder. After the soup was done, the very long wait for the rest of our meal began. Nothing arrived for another 1/2 hour. When it finally did arrive, the antipasto sandwich my friends ordered was delicious, though the pasta salad that accompanied it was very bland. My steak salad came, and as I dug in (I was starving by this time) I discovered that 70% of the steak was fat. I had ordered it rare, but it was barely cooked and I started to feel sick as I ate it. I actually like a bit of fat on my meat, but this was ridiculous- I had to tear the fat off of each piece of meat, and what I was left with at the end was almost nothing. The salad cost $15, and I just couldn't pay that for a meal that was basically some salad greens with fat (and from which I was sick to my stomach- I was so hungry that I ate more of the fat than I should have).I told the waiter, who appeared annoyed, and who went off to talk to the chef. He returned after a long time, and told me they's take $2 off my bill. I am sorry- any restaurant that cares about the quality of their food would never serve such a thing, and if by some sort of mistake they did, they would do a much better job of fixing the situation. What a disappointing meal! So... the clam chowder is great if you are willing to wait, but I would be careful of the rest of the menu.Hopefully if you go the server will be in a better mood.

My husband and I were walking around the shopping area of Cannon Beach and we were starting to get hungry. We didn't want anything overly pricey or heavy. I knew there were several sandwich shops around and we thought Seasons had a good menu. The place is seat yourself if you are eating in. I got the turkey and provolone panini and my husband the hot ham and cheese. We both got tomato basil soup with our sandwiches. All the food was delicious. The bread was nice and soft but still slightly crunchy from the panini press. The soup was also very good. Next time I'll probably go for just half the sandwich and soup or another one of their sides. Also the wait staff is very friendly and laid back. Our server was even dancing around the place and singing along to the music they were playing.

I am going to get right to the point on why this place earned their 5 stars with me. The biggest thing for me was their sandwiches weren't over toasted. What is that? haven't you ever had a sandwich that was so toasted that it was more like a knife cutting into the roof of your mouth? I had the aussie-dip, tender lamb in a french dip style of a sandwich with a minty au-jus wow it just sang out to me as i gobbled this sandwich down before my companion could even finish half of their sandwich. I also had the clam chowder, though it's not going to bring anyone to orgasm, but it sure was tasty and they didn't go skimpy on the clams. First time to the beach for me but it sure won't be the last, and this will always be a place for me to stop in for some food.

My sister and I tried to go to Seasons Thursday evening, but were disappointed to find they close early (4 pm). We came back the next day to get some sandwiches to go since it was such a nice day (in November!). My sister got the turkey provolone with pesto on the fresh buttermilk bread which she gave good reviews. I had the ham and cheese (with swiss and cheddar) also on the fresh buttermilk bread. Mine was ok. Nothing special. Needed something on the sandwich to make it stand out. A good mustard? I guess I should have asked...Instead, on one of my sandwich halves I spooned some of the tasty potato salad which gave it more flavor. Overall, we were satisfied. The staff was friendly and fairly fast. We both commented the sandwiches are pricey for what you get but I guess that's what happens in touristy towns. I did see a woman eating an open faced sandwich on a baguette with broiled tomato and fresh mozzarella and drizzled with some kind of balsamic vinaigrette/olive oil combo. Now that looked good.

I've finally made my way around to trying Seasons Cafe and I was shocked that I hadn't tried it sooner! I ordered the clam chowder and the Spicy Bento--let me just say it is amazing (it IS because I am still eating it!). The staff were amazing and fun to talk with, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I visited on a very stormy January day and it was a nice relief from the weather to walk inside! The chowder is thick and very tasty! Full of chunks of potatoes and seasons that just make your mouth water! The Bento is by far my favorite thing I've had in a long time! Served with the chicken was a combo of sauteed and steamed veggies, which were cooked to PERFECTION. The chicken is very, very well done, but I could order an entire plate of just the steamed and sauteed veggies! I've had my share of overly mushy or not quite cooked veggies, and these were a perfect. I'm going to be heartbroken when I finish! I can't wait to go back and try the Turkey and Cranberry cream cheese deli sandwich...! Num!

I stopped by on a Monday afternoon, service was a little slow, they were out of all soups, silverware was mismatched, and my credit card couldn't be run because someone was on the phone. Despite all of that the food was tasty, not unreasonable priced, and satisfied the significant other.

While searching for a bowl of clam chowder, I came across a review on Yelp and decided to try Seasons Cafe. It happened to be quite crowded when we arrived, but luckily we managed to get a table. 3 bowls of chowder and a variety of sandwiches, all of which we liked. Like the variety of sandwiches (both hot & cold) and 1/2 soup/sandwich combinations. Also nicely tucked away back off the main street so not too much foot traffic. If you are lucky, you might even score a parking spot right out back!

Oh snap, this place was tasty. At first I was disappointed that they were out of lamb and I couldn't get the Aussie Dip. So I got the Antipasto sandwich which was open faced on toasty bread and it had tomato, salami, delicious pastrami and i think balsamic vinegar drizzled over it. I got a side of Carrot Curry which was creamy delicious.

We came in 15 minutes after they'd opened on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The A-frame outside advertised two lunch specials that lured us in--a $14 halibut taco dish and a $16 halibut sandwich. NOM! We sat ourselves in a two-top by a sunny window looking out into the cute boutique-shop-lined alley outside just off Hemlock Street. Service was meh--not bad, not great. Server wasn't aware that there was a halibut special when we ordered it, but she confirmed with the cook in front of us that it was indeed on the menu that day. While we waited for our food to arrive, the draft Pilsner and draft coconut lime kombucha were where-have-you-been-all-summer delightful. Husband's tacos arrived and I immediately regretted every life choice that had led up to this moment of taco deprivation. He had clearly made the better choice. They looked spectacular and tasted even better when husband looked away. My halibut sandwich had a lot to live up to in comparison, but it was meaty, moist, and generous. The only con about this place is that the price point is a tiny bit painful. $44 after tip for lunch for two is a bit much, but there were certainly cheaper options we could have take advantage of on the menu.

Service was slow but I saw a help wanted sign in the window so I can't complain too much. The food was actually pretty good. Small complaint was with the antipasto sandwich. It was really tasty! But no where on the menu does it say open faced sandwich. At least tell the person ordering what they're getting. So tasty but so messy. Other than that, clam chowder was good.

The food was delicious, just like everyone else said. Our server was extremely off putting, at first, but warmed up. I ended up ordering the soup (carrot curry) and 1/2 a sandwich (the California) for $11 Overall, it was definitely worth the visit. Note: I only gave 4 stars because of our host, his personality is NOT ideal for this type of environment.

Well, this was a nice little cafe that had many gluten-free options, which is always a plus. However, my experience was less than stellar. We came in for a quick bite and a drink. Our order? One bowl of split pea soup and one bowl of carrot curry soup. What was the split pea like? I wouldn't know because they brought two bowls of carrot curry (which was delicious). I was tired from walking all over to send it back so I just dealt. Next, after we had had a glass of wine and a beer, I had pulled out the wine list to figure out which wine I wanted next, the guy brought over the bill without even asking if we wanted anything else. Never refilled our waters either. It probably didn't help that we were helped by at least 3 people, which probably didn't help on the backend. So, we paid our bill and went somewherw else to get that second drink. Food great, service not so much.

This place has become a regular stop for us each time down. Food is good for a tourist town and they have a good selection of beers. Salsa was very good with the chips but mac and cheese was kraft and potatoe salad had a strong mustard taste. If you like mustard you would like the potatoe salad. All the other food was fresh and tasted very good but struggling to get past the mac n cheese and potatoe salad. Good things to try would be the BLT and the Philly Cheese steak sandwich. The chicken sandwich was an entire chicken breast and could only eat half

We feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this cute little cafe for lunch today. The main drag was crowded with lumbering tourists waiting impatiently in line or for a table to open up at various joints about town. This spot is tucked back among the little shops, just enough off the beaten path that it was blessedly not crowded. There is outside seating or you could order take out, but we opted for an inside table. I can only take so much direct sunlight (from Seattle.) I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was perfect. Light, tender pieces of chicken, romaine and Parmesan with almonds and cranberries. I think it might be my new favorite thing to include almonds and cranberries in sandwiches. Husband and son had the BLT. Big fat slices of white lightly toasted bread with typically good BLT stuff inside. Littlest had half a three cheese sandwich which was gooey and delicious. We opted for chips on the side. Service was great, polite and relatively quick. This is not fast food people. I think sometimes diners on vacation can be a little testy. Order a beer (they have a great selection) and relax and enjoy the people watching.

The food was great, the service was decent. The guy in the shop seemed like he was agitated with every costumer when we came in but warmed up while we were dining. I got the hot pastrami and chips for $11. Definitely worth a stop. Hopefully he starts having a better day.

We ate here for lunch with our whole family and our kids ate much better than they usually do, so that always says something good about a place to us. We also had a Reuben and a French dip. Both were very tasty but not the best we've ever had. The clam chowder was different in a great way. I really enjoyed it. The service was a little slow but staff was friendly. A solid lunch place.

Amazing food with fresh ingredients done by a real chef. Cannon Beach locals eat here and know the difference between great local food and tourist food. The chef does fantastic flourishes on simple favorites. Steak chili dog! Homemade balsamic reduction on the buffaleta sandwich. And quality wines and beer. Can't beat it.

Delicious!!!! Absolutely delicious. My husband, son and I had lunch there last Tuesday. We ordered a BLT, Albacore Tuna and a kids Hot Dog. My husband said hands down it was the best BLT he had ever had. My Tuna sandwich was HUGE. Two people could've eaten it. Came with Dill Havarti and Capers.....and must try! And our sons hot dog, although 6.00 was a bit expensive, was excellent and pretty big. We would go here again in a heartbeat!!

Stopped here for a quick lunch before hitting the beach. This seems like the kind of place that would be more impressive for dinner -- their lunch menu wasn't exactly "inspired" but the chalkboard with dinner specials looked interesting. Friend and I both ordered the California cold sandwich (turkey sandwich w/ avocado on cinnamon swirl bread) with potato salad on the side. It was ok, the cinnamon bread was kinda dry and the whole sandwich was kind of boring. None of the ingredients stood out as being really fresh or tasty, ya know? The service was, umm, laid back. My friend observed that our server looked like he couldn't wait for his shift to end. Zero expression on his face. When I ordered a beer, he said they're out, but it sucked anyway and that I should get the IPA. Well, I don't want the IPA... he seemed offended that I was no longer ordering beer and was sticking to water. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience that I'm stewing about, but when I'm back in Cannon Beach, I wouldn't go back to Seasons Cafe.

I went to this cafe because their sign advertised pastries and food with gluten free options. When I asked about gluten free the staff member responded with a curt no. I proceeded to order food but his demeanor never improved. They also charge an additional $1 per dish for to go orders. The good was extremely lackluster and overpriced for the quality. All in all an unpleasant experience.

Cute hidden spot, with great food. It could have been a really fun lunch, but the waiter was very unfriendly, and it was clear he was bothered by being there. Brought the wrong food, (did fix it) and never come back to check on us.

Perfect? No. Very good? Yes. It pained me not to go back to Seasons Cafe for our beach picnic after a really positive experience a few weeks ago. Instead, we went to a deli in Seaside and it just made my heart grow fonder for this place. Six sandwiches in our group. We had a mix of sides (chips, pasta salad, potato salad), drinks (they serve beer and wine and have a full coffee bar) and a few modifications and there were six satisfied customers. Not that everything was perfect. They almost gave me another patrons order in addition to my own (I checked, so no bonus sammies for me), they charge $1 extra per dish for take-out orders (really?), these are Cannon Beach prices, and it took awhile (25 minutes) to make our order. But it was a peak summer weekend and they told me in advance, so no biggie. The location is nice with a sunny outdoor patio in an alley just off the main street. But, why eat in a restaurant when you can dine al fresco on one of the coast's prettiest beaches? My sandwich was the Aussie Dip, essentially a French dip made with lamb instead of roast beef. Stellar. The other orders were a mix of veggie and meat sandwiches and went from the average (ham and cheese) to the more interesting. I say focus on the interesting items from the large menu. This place has four/five star potential and the Aussie Dip gets that rating from me. But the service miscues and take-out charge bring me back to earth. Absolutely returning for another picnic lunch.

First the setting: it's a Saturday evening 4:30 and I am on a weekend getaway alone. Recharge the batteries. Spend some time being quiet. I have Seasons to myself. Sitting pretty at a table with a view. The music is lightly jazzy. Tonight's special is seafood linguine. I note a well selected beer list. Sold. The linguine is delicious. And I was in luck. Coconut Cream pie just baked. The house coffee is an Americano. Service is Dad (doubling as chef) and daughter. I know this because when I asked the style of the cherry beer my waitress hollered out " Dad! What style is the cherry beer!" After apologizing with what I think I heard was "Sorry... I'm not an alcoholic." :-) Awesome. I had a very relaxed and delicious dinner. If you too are looking for good food and drink in a laidback atmosphere on a fall night. Stop in. OMG... he just put out fresh rosemary stalks at every table. Super aromatics.

This cafe is a little hidden but totally worth finding if you are gluten free! The tuna salad was amazing and the pastrami was to die for. The portions are healthy and for gluten free sandwiches they give you two small sandwiches on amazing bread!

Food was above average but the atmosphere was just dead. Don't really know how to explain it but the place had no energy. The staff wasn't as bad as some other reviewers have said but they just seemed kind of distracted... Probably check out a different place next time.

FOOD WAS GOOD. SERVICE WAS PAINFULLY SLOW. It took about 10 minutes to place our order with the waitress, who was very pleasant. I ordered the tomato, basil & mozzarella w/ pasta salad, sister gets the chicken curry pita and her son has the cheese quesadilla. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, which is shocking because the small quesadilla maybe gets toasted for 5 minutes and my open-face TBM sandwich got broiled, and my sister's pita is a cold sandwich! Overall, the food was really good but took way too long for it to be reasonable.

This cafe is great! We lunched here 2 days in a row because it had so many options of great soup/salad/sandwhiches not to mentioned good drink options as well. The servers all had character and we'll go back again! Bonus points for a nice patio!!!!

Really great sandwiches, and the pasta salad was excellent as well.

Busy Saturday afternoon so the service was a bit slow, luckily we had some cold brew to pass the time. The portions were huge and the price was nominal. The pasta salad was yummy and my French dip was really good..

Found this spot for dinner back in February. It was perfect! The owner was the cook and server that night. Only a handful of us in there so it was fine. Owner was super friendly and made the best pasta dish that night. Returned for dinner in July and ordered same meal, which was again very good! Have since returned for lunch twice. Most recently my husband had the steak sandwich, which he recommends. I had the ceaser wrap -could've used a bit more dressing (or a bit stronger dressing). Pasta salad and potato salads are excellent. I didn't catch our server's name but he was excellent (super friendly and very attentive to our party of 4 plus dog). Btw, my friend thought the server looked like Harry Potter and told him so. If looking for a fast meal, this place isn't it but if you have time to hang out and relax, should be a good option.

Have eaten here a couple times and had their catering at a few events over the past couple months. Always good but never took the time to yelp it. Yesterday I had a Ruben (pastrami) and it was fantastic. I'm no ruben rookie and have the love handles to prove it and this was a really, really good one. It was a quite Thursday afternoon in Cannon Beach so service was great, didn't realize they have a great beer/wine selection and dinner menu which I will soon check out. In summary, great food, pleased with portion size and variety of menu. I have no issue with a $10 sandwich if it is quality and this was. They have a new regular in me.

I really enjoyed my lunch. Got to sit out in the sun, enjoy a beer and an adventurous sandwich (I got the turkey on cinnamon swirl bread). The carrot curry soup was to die for, I took some home and ate it again later thinking I gotta find a recipe like this! My friend, however, did not enjoy his French dip at all!! The bread was a terrible match for the meat and the meat wasn't even good by itself. Only 3 stars as our average lande somewhere around there...

The food itself was amazing. My husband and I both got the triple club and were surprised at how good it was! As for the service? Horrible. My husband was finding a parking spot while I found something to get for us to bring back to our hotel room. Whole looking over the menu, the waiter rudely asked how much longer I would need - confusing me, as there was only one other table. After ordering for both my husband and I, the waiter asked why I wasn't getting any drinks. I told him we had water at our hotel. He rolled his eyes and left. When my husband joined me, he asked why I ordered for us both if he was going to be coming too. Another waiter smiled at us and seemed to feel awkward about how rude his coworker was being, but didn't say anything. While we waited, the waiter was short and rude with several other customers and even yelled at his coworkers. Unfortunately, next time we'll be skipping the good food to find somewhere with a friendlier waitstaff.

Hidden away gem. Great housemade clam chowder. We both had half of sandwich. Hubby had it with chowder and I had a salad. Everything was great. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Will remember to eat here next time we're in Cannon Beach.

This place is fantastic! Get the turkey-cran, add bacon. Thank you to the woman who turned us on to that, and you are welcome :) also, shrimp scampi and clam chowder are great.

The owner Doug is kind and will cater to whatever you need to have the best experience in his cafe. This is the only restaurant in cannon beach with delivery.

It was a chilly day in Cannon Beach. After much beaching and shopping, I desperately needed caffeine. After walking by several shops that were already closed (at 4:30?!) and one that was cash-only (didn't have any on me), I stumbled upon Seasons Cafe and asked for a latte. They said they were getting ready to close for a private group, and to to come back tomorrow for lunch. When I asked where I could find a cup of coffee, the awesome staff took pity on me and served up my caffeine fix. I was thrilled. Unfortunately, the latte I ordered was just so-so....but the service was definitely fab and I'd be willing to pop in for lunch the next time I'm in town.

It is only getting a 3 instead of a 2 because the food was really, really good. The reason for the low score is the service. We sat there for over half an hour before getting our sandwiches. It could have been the particular waitress's fault, I personally think she just didn't put in our order until 20 minutes in, but it was very frustrating because they weren't that busy. The other waitress helped 3 take-out customers in the time we waited, and though this place looks like a nice relaxing dine-in lunch, I wouldn't if you're being served by a short waitress with brown hair. The tall blonde knows what she's doing, but stay away from the other one!! Just do take-out instead!!! The food itself was good. I prefer New England style clam chowder, and this one was creamy. The clam chowder had herbs and flavors I'm not used to and it was interesting. The sandwich seemed very fresh and the bread was great. I had the Reuben, and it was very comforting. The grilled chicken sandwich that my sister and father both had was stacked high with a giant piece of chicken so a half sandwich is more than enough if you're ordering that one!! Also because of how enormous the chicken was it was a tiny bit dry, but it was well seasoned. Also, the bathroom was very clean!

The problem that I always have with having lunch at the Oregon Coast restaurants is the price and quality of food. They always want a lot of money for so so mediocre food. I stumbled at Seasons Cafe on a cold rainy day at Cannon Beach. I was wet from the rain and hungry for something warm and yummy. The place was empty when my friend and I walked in. We seated ourselves at the hallway area. We got our menus and browsed through pretty wide selection of food. Mostly sandwiches, paninis, and wraps. Their price range between $6.95-$9.95. I ordered the half "Californian" sandwich with a cup of Clam Chowder for $8.95. Not a bad price at all for lunch at the coast. My sandwich had turkey, avocado, cheese, onion, tomato, and lettuce on Cinnamon roll bread. I'm not a big fan of Cinnamon, but let me tell you, this bread was delicious. It was moist and not too sweet. Surprisingly, it was a perfect bread for this sandwich. I love the Clam Chowder as well. Very hearty and I found many clam chunks in it. I guess, I found my perfect lunch spot at Cannon Beach. I will be back for some more chowder and those delish sandwiches.

This place was as excellent as all the others have said the only thing for my wife and I, is we wished we found it earlier. Perfect and hearty soups and sandwiches, simply could not ask for better.

My husband and I got soup and sandwiches to go from season's cafe. It was just about 12pm and they were starting to get busy. The women behind the counter felt so rushed she literally threw the bag of sandwiches over the counter to me, with the plastic to go boxes landing on their side. When I looked at her with a startled look, she said "it's yours". As if that was why I was confused. I knew they were mine, I was just confused as to the reason they were being thrown at me. After that ordeal we walked down to the beach to enjoy our lunch. My husband got a veggie wrap that was pretty good. Fresh vegetables and even ripe avocado. I got the albacore tuna. It was dripping in mayo and far too rich with the Havarti dill cheese. The bread was thick with a good texture but had just about as much flavor as wonder bread. On top of it all, they didn't include my pasta. This could be a good place with a little more attention and care to service and flavor.

Yummy! Creamy and light (how is this possible?!) Caesar salad, the greatest potato salad and a delicious tomato basil sandwich! Thank you Yelp for another winner! LOVE this food!

Maybe someone in the kitchen didn't show up for work on the day we were there? The food was good and a nice fresh contrast to pizza, burgers or fried food, but it took over 30 minutes to get three sandwiches and a salad. And no apologies from the staff until we asked about it. The restaurant was busy but not packed. We watched other people come in and order and also just wait and wait. When the food did finally come, the tomato mozzarella sandwich was very good (though not clear from the menu that it's served open face). Also enjoyed the curried chicken salad. The grilled chicken sandwiches were fine, but would've been better on the listed baguette which they had run out of (though for some reason other sandwiches went by on baguette after we were served).

High priced for what you get, very disappointing. Also charges $2.00 to cut a sandwich in half if you are sharing it. Place was empty, a lot of people would come in, then leave. Disappointing.

NOT open at 9:00, as stated on Yelp. We wanted to grab a sandwich to take with us to Ecola, and since Yelp showed this place being open at 10:50 am, we stopped in. How does one stop in when a place is closed? Well, when both of their doors are wide open, it's easy to make that mistake. But, no other customers in the joint, no one behind the counter, 2+2=closed said our brains, which was then confirmed by the guy who came out and told us he wasn't going to open for another half hour or so. Uhhhhh... Thanks Yelp and wide open doors for tricking us into thinking the place was open. Oh well, $10 is too much for a sandwich anyway.

Reuben sandwich: excellent, with a good beef/cabbage ratio and enough sauce to taste it but not enough to drip all over yourself. Antipasto sandwich: also excellent, sort of like pizza, and great if your party disagrees on what kind of cuisine to go for :) My clam chowder was delicious and the pasta salad that came with the Antipasto sandwich was also quite good. We ordered full sandwiches, but would have been fine with halves. They are good-sized, but not unreasonably so. Bring your appetite and leave happy! Service was very friendly and prompt, though food was a bit slow coming out. The place was about half-full on a sunny Friday afternoon, but there was a steady stream of customers picking up to-go orders, which could have slowed the kitchen down.

I went to Seasons Cafe with my Aunt and Uncle who were visiting from New York. They are total foodies so I was looking for a good lunch place that would impress them. Seasons did not let me down! I had the tomatoe, mozzarella panini - it was amazing. My Aunt & Uncle had 1/2 sandwiches with soup and really liked it. Portions were generous. The waitress was friendly and the chef/owner paid a personal visit to our table and was great. If you are in Cannon Beach this is the place to eat!

Pros: clam chowder was awesome, many layers of flavor, and meaty chunks of clam albacore pannini was good, tuna was a tad dry, good bread though loved the rasberry italian soda great service by the twin sisters owners Cons: Can't think of any

Stumbled upon this cute shopping complex around lunch time. Wanted something light and fresh. That's exactly what Seasons has. One of the daily soups was split pea and ham. Delicious. Had cum and corriander in it, an unusual and delicious touch. The lamb wrap was light and tasty. Had a good, cheap Chardonnay. Our waitress was very friendly. Stop in for a healthy bite of fresh food.

Food is fresh and homemade. Sandwiches are simple and tasty--albacore tuna salad is the best and the clam chowder is some of the best that I've tasted outside of New England. Staff are pleasant and atmosphere is very nice; breeze blowing through windows and a narrow walkway so you can people watch as your sipping a primo cafe au lait.

We went in with high hopes given the reviews. My tomato/basil/mozzarella sandwich was yummy. My husband was not so impressed with his clam chowder and sandwich. Kids had an overpriced PBJ. It was our only meal in Cannon Beach so maybe it could have been on par. Worth a try but don't go out of your way.

It's okay, I had the French dip and it's nothing special. Waitress was kind of snooty, probably will never come here again. Well try something new next time. Love Cannon Beach!

Wayyyy overpriced for the quality of the food and service. I ordered the Albacore Tuna and Dill Havarti sandwich and the sandwich ended up not even having dill Havarti on it, they just slapped regular on it. The kid's meals were a joke. $5 for crappy Kraft (I'm serious.....it really was Kraft) macaroni and cheese and maybe 1/2 cup if that. No side of fruit, no drink! The service was mediocre at best and the dude waiting tables was quite rude. Our order took forever to get and then they forgot one of our sandwiches. Overall.....we should have grabbed pizza or crepes down the street because this lunch was not worth it.

After wandering the street of Cannon Beach with my pregnant friend, following our tummies and our noses, we were at the end of the main drag and hoping for a hit. And we got it! Seasons was exactly what we wanted for lunch. I LOVE IT when cafes offer half sandwhich soup/salad combos. My friend got this incredible open face tomato salami mozzerella sandwich with a cup of clam chowder thick with potatoes. Mine was a Reuben and an organic greens salad with yummy dressing. The Reuben was on this lovely marbled rye bread. We sat outside in the sun, and I had a latte to take away the edge of an Oregon sunny day. One thing I love about this place is that it is set back off the street and doesn't have the same generic touristy vibe. Refreshing and perfect. Also the service was efficient and fabulous.

Yummy sandwiches and great service! This sandwich shop is a great place to have lunch in Cannon Beach. Don't be deceived by the modest idea that it is just a sandwich shop. The owner is a true chef with experience and training, so you will find that the menu offerings are imaginative and well-prepared. My husband and I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed our food and found the young serving staff helpful and efficient.

Pretty good breakfast bagels, the kind with egg ham or bacon and cheese. Bagels seemed fresh, and the bacon was good (not the stuff you buy in bulk at Costco or Sam's Club and re-heat). Nice pleasant alley-way like space to sit outside and eat, and watch other cannon beach visitors, with their dogs, kids, and hubbies in tow come and go. One other observation. Crocs, those sorta gummy plastic clog-looking shoes sold in life-saver colors, must have a built in homing device to get to this place. Because almost everyone I saw there appeared to be wearing these. If you have a family, kid and wife or hubby in tow, all the more so.

CAN YOU SAY RUDE? They're packed and we walked in and the guy goes "are you getting it to go? We don't have any room for you." In the rudest tone. There would've been eight of us and they would've made at least $100. Never going back and I don't recommend it for you. Nobody deserves to be disrespected especially when your the customer. As a business owner we know how important it is for a worker to be kind. We would fire him in a heartbeat.
